Language
- French is the official language.
- Are spoken, according to ethnic groups, Wolof, Fula, Serer, the Madringue, Soninke and Diola.
- English, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, German, Russian and literary Arabic are also spoken by many Sénagalais.

Entry requirements in Senegal
- The passport must be valid (not expired in a minimum of 3 months after the end of the stay in Senegal).
- Nationals of Member States of the European Union, the ECOWAS countries, the United States, Canada, Japan and some North African countries do not require visas.
- For other countries, participants should check with the embassies, consulates and other representations of Senegal in their country to obtain the visa.
- It is recommended to take out travel insurance to cover your stay in Senegal. The vaccination certificate must be updated and it is mandatory for the traveler.
